Wilma Jean Bulger, 94 of Athens, passed away early Sunday morning, February 25, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Paul and Edna Faye McGee Goldsworthy. A lifelong Athens resident who was born on January 11, 1930.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, William Bulger (2013) and her sister Evelyn White (2000).
She is survived by her sons, Randy (Michele) Bulger of Athens and Bill Bulger of Athens; Also, her grandchildren Courtney, Lee, and Jacob; special nieces and nephews, Chris and Deanna. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt who will be greatly missed by her family.
She was a homemaker all her life and was always there for you if you needed a hug or an encouraging word. She was a devoted christian and would spend a lot of her time singing the gospel in many Athens area churches.
Services have been entrusted to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 4, 2024 beginning at 1PM officiated by Don Harris. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. You may call upon the family on Monday from 11AM until the time of the service.
