William H. Arnott
William H. Arnott, 78, of Coolville, OH passed into eternal life on Feb. 28, 2013.
He was the son of the late Clifford Sr. and Ethel Arnott.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Craft Arnott; his brothers, Cifford Jr. Judy of Michigan and Paul of Florida; sons, Mike Carol of South Carolina, Richard Betty, Thomas Carol and Charles Barbara all of Coolville, OH; daughters, Linda Larry Backus of Parkersburg, WV, Dianna Mike Wilson of Reedsville and Denise Arnott of Coolville; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dora and a grandson.
William served as a Marine in the Korean War and was a member of the VFW, DAV and American Legion. He was an avid "Ham" operator. He served as Special Deputy Sheriff for Athens County and also a security officer at the Marietta Court House.
Services will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, March 4, 2013 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
