COOLVILLE-- William L. "Bill" Toncray, 64, of Coolville,OH passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at his residence.
He was born June 12, 1953 in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Garland and Neva (Davis) Toncray. Bill played the guitar with Jim Blair and the Southern Gospelaires. He was also a former member of the Coolville People's Club and he retired from Ames after 32 years of service. He was very avid community minded person. He always enjoyed serving Christmas dinner at the Coolville United Methodist Church and helping distribute Christmas food baskets.
William is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lora (Dixon) Toncray; 3 sons, Billy Jack Toncray and Courtney Barrett, Anthony Shane (Amanda) Sampson and Jason (Samantha) Toncray; 2 daughters, Tonya Sue Toncray and Jesse (Nick) Munday; 5 grandsons; 5 granddaughters; 3 brothers, Dave, Leo and Raymond Toncray; a sister, Kay Clegg; his dog and best friend, Spencer and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Sunday, May 6, 2018 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH. Burial will follow in the Coolville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, from 5-7 P.M.
