William O “Bill” Lewis, Jr., 74, of Chauncey, died early Thursday morning, October 27, 2022 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center.
Born August 4, 1948 in Athens, he was the son of the late William O and Mary Emma Stotts Lewis, Sr.
He was a 1966 graduate of Chauncey Dover High School and was an over the road truck driver most of his life.
He is survived by three children, Julie (Ralph) Phelps of Athens, William Jason (Julie Mason) Lewis of Canal Winchester, Jessica (Bryan) Kruse of Carroll; eight grandchildren; three siblings, Gene (Susie) Lewis Athens, Linda (Steve) Skinner of The Plains, Carol Beth (Greg Cline) Lewis of Athens; several nieces and nephews; his former wife, Louise Lewis and his fury friend, Buckeye.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lewis.
Memorial services will be Friday, November 4, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev Owen Stotts officiating.
