William Bond
William Harry Bond, 70, of Coolville, OH passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 25, 1938 in Coolville, OH, son of the late Howard and Mamie Crippen Bond. He retired from Carthage Township Garage. In his youth, he enjoyed racing Ford's at Skyline Speedway, formerly, Bond's Speedway.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Laura Bond, Sherry Bond and Susan Bond; a son, Glen Emrick; his former wife and current best friend, Mary Ann Bond; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Judy Brunty, Norma Nelson and Clarice Gonzalez; and 4 brothers, Jim Bond, Ronnie Bond, Garner Bond and Charles Bond. A special thanks to Megan Miller and grandson, Tyler Fox for their constant care in the last days of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clyde Bond and Garrett Bond; and a sister, Hazel Panell.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery, Coolville, OH with Rev. George Horner officiating.
It was his wish that there be no visitation.
