William Edward Deeter

GUYSVILLE--William Edward "Ted" Deeter, 48 of Guysville, passed away early Thursday morning, April 5th, 2018 at his home. Born September 10, 1969 in Athens, he was the son of Mary Lea Fout Chiki and the late William Deeter.

A 1987 graduate of Athens High School, Ted pursued his Diesel Mechanic Degree in Nashville, TN. He later worked proudly as a member of the Union Local 175 out of South Charleston. He was a loving and caring man who never held a grudge.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his beloved Fiance, Lori Hauser; four children, Ryan (Brittany) Deeter, Lucas Deeter, Melissa (Kelam) Schulz, Ashlee Grubbs; sister, BJ (James) Flach; two brothers, Thomas Chiki and Douglas Chiki; 7 grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, and his dog, Puppy.

Besides his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

Inurnment will be 6PM at Alexander Cemetery on Friday, September 23, 2022 with Pastor Phil Foster officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where friends and family may sign the online guestbook at hughesmoquinfuneralhome.com.
