REEDSVILLE—William C. “Bill” Gaddis, 87, of Reedsville, OH, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at Camden-Clark Hospital in Parkersburg. WV.
He was born Feb. 13, 1937, son of the late Frank and Tessie Lange Gaddis. Bill was a 1955 graduate of Corning High School; a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a Locomotive Engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad, with 43 years of service. He was also a member of the Middleport Masonic Lodge and a lifetime member of the Forked Run Gun Club.
Bill is survived by a son, Mark and Aimee Gaddis; 3 daughters, Denise Gaddis (Jon Thorson), Kristi Gaddis and Nancy Osborne; his grandchildren, whom he loved very much, Gunner Gaddis and Lauren Thorson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Tessie Lange Gaddis and his wife of 61 years, Jacque Gaddis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Larry Lemley officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuppers Plains Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
