Willajean “Jean” Rose
BELPRE—Willajean Janette “Jean” Rose, of Belpre, formerly of Hockingport, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, October 30, 2021, after a full life.
Jean was the first born to the late Earnest and Beaulah Isner of Newburn, WV on October 17th, 1928.
Jean attended White’s Chapel Church while raising her children and residing in Hockingport. After mother moved to Belpre, she attended Veto Gospel Tabernacle,
When Jean’s children were grown, she was employed with Lee Middleton Doll Factory for 16 years until the business closed.
Jean is survived by her five children as follows, Deborah Balser of Belpre, Sharon Sargent of Barlow, James (Mary) Rose of Cheshire, OH, Cathy Rose, who Jean shared a home with in Belpre, and Sarah (Bob) Cowan of Belpre; sisters, Bettie Moore of Parkersburg, WV and Hazel Roberts of Edgewater, FL,; step-son, Gary Michael Rose of Bartlett, OH.
Jean is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. There are also several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors that will miss our Mother.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Beaulah Isner; the love of her life, her husband, Ray Rose; 3 infant grandbabies; a great-great-grandson; brother, Clyde Isner and step-son, Roger Rose.
Jean loved her family, friends, flowers, reading her Bible, going to church and traveling to Tennessee.
Mom will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mom was the glue that held this family together.
Services are entrusted to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, at 11 A.M., Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, from 4-8 at the funeral home.
