LITTLE HOCKING--Wilbert "Ronzel" Roberts, 70, of Little Hocking, OH passed away Friday, Dec. 16. 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born July 13, 1946 in Grantsville, WV son of the late Brice and Lucy Parsons Roberts. He attended Souls Refuge Church and retired from OAmes. Ronzel was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Billie Stalnaker Roberts; a daughter, Sherry (Daniel) Ahart; 2 sons, Rick (Becky) Roberts and Scott (Anita) Roberts; his grandchildren, Jordan (Kyle) White, Katelyn (Elijah) Bowers, Whitney Roberts, Britney Roberts, Mikayla Roberts, Levi Roberts, Luke Roberts, Brooke (Jace) Knost, Ashley Roberts, Bradyn Roberts, Tori Roberts and Nathan Camp; 2 great-granddaughters, Adley Ollom and Shelby Camp; 2 brothers, Dale (Bev) Roberts and Kenny Roberts and 3 sisters, Dian (Fred) Bise, Loretta (Tom) Smith and Tina (Mike) Matheny.
He was preceded in death by his first love of 37 years, Sharolyn Roberts, his parents; a brother, Joe Roberts and a sister-in-law, Lisa Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Pastor John Longfellow officiating. Burial follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Hockingport.
