Wanedia Maxine Rader
Wanedia Maxine Rader, 89, of Coolville passed peacefully at home on Tuesday surrounded by her family. Born on October 3, 1924 in Ravenswood, WV to the late Jesse Alvin and Elsie Mae (Rardin) Sayre.
She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1942, worked as a telephone operator and bank teller at Tri-county Bank. She enjoyed bowling, golf and playing cards with family. She was a member of Stewart United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, James (Dorothy), Jerry (Betty) of Coolville, Julie (Charlie) Potter of Ft. Myers, FL and Joe (Barb) of Coolville. Grandchildren: Jay, Jennifer, Natalie, BJ, Travis, Melissa, Chris, Amy, Holly and Jill. Great-grandchildren: Dylan, Ashley, Connor, Michael, Eric, Dakota, Jett, Travis, Madison. Shawna. Chelsea, Madison, Gabrielle, Ruby, Lydia and Brandon and a sister, Thelma Linton of Coolville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James, Brother Alvin Sayre, Sisters Lourine Bailey and Betty Rader.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 19th at Vanderhoof Baptist Church, 23305 Moyis Rd, Coolville, with the Rev. Jim Lambert officiating. Interment will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be at the church on Friday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
