Wanda Marie Rockhold Kimes, 73, of Reedsville, OH went home to be with her Lord Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008 at her residence. She was born Jan. 20, 1935 in Reedsville, OH daughter of the late Walter and Norma Pifer Rockhold. She was a long time member of the Reedsville United Methodist Church and Reedsville United Methodist Women. She was a dedicated church and community worker and her passion was caring for children.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Tommy Reed; a son, Klare Kimes; 2 grandchildren, Jordan and Luke Kimes; 2 brothers, Henry Nancy Rockhold, Dale Shirley Rockhold, and Keith Karen Rockhold; 3 sisters, Pauletta Bob Shields, Janet Don Shields and Wilma Bill Sandy; special friends, Frances Reed, Margaret Cauthron and Thelma Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Kimes; and a brother, Kenny Rockhold.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008 at the Reedsville United Methodist Church with Pastors Jim Corbitt and Wendall Stutler officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery, Reedsville, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
