Victoria E. Jarvis

Victoria E. Jarvis, 90, of Stewart, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Victoria was born April 19, 1934 in Stewart, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Benson and Martha Vaness Davis.

Victoria retired from K-Mart in Fort Myers, Florida after many years. After retirement, Victoria spent several years traveling with her husband to setup displays of their beloved seashells. They returned to Stewart, Ohio, to spend their remaining years. 

Victoria is survived by two sons, Donald “Mike” Jarvis of Fort Myers, Florida and Wendell Jarvis of Stewart, Ohio; grandchildren, Vicki Piper, Josh Jarvis, Jason Jarvis, Wendy Jarvis, Forrest Jarvis Jr, Ricky Jarvis, Tamara Jarvis and James Jarvis; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 73 years, James Harlan Jarvis on August 6, 2024; her sons, James Harlan Jarvis Jr in 2021 and Forrest Jarvis in 2024; grandson, Michael Owen Jarvis; brothers, Claude, Bob, Jim, John, Price and Tom Davis and sisters, Norma Jean and Mary.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Carthage Community Church in Guysville with Calvin Jarvis officiating. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery in Stewart, Ohio. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service at the church. 

Following the services, all are invited back to the Carthage Community Church for food and fellowship.
