Vesta Camp
Vesta Pauline Blake Camp, of Arcadia Nursing Center in Coolville, Ohio went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the age of 89.
She was born February 19, 1922 to Delbert and Rena Randolph Blake.
She worked at McBees in Athens, Ohio until such time as she married Francis S. Camp and began a new career as a homemaker. Together they raised three children, Tony Camp Martha of Pomeroy, OH, Elaine Hart Roy of Coolville, OH and Cindy Golie Dan of Appleton, WI. In addition, she was a wonderful grandmother to 8 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; she is also survived by two brothers, Paul Blake and Bernard Blake and a sister, Nancy Schultz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Francis and a sister, Marjorie Luman.
She shared a very strong faith and regularly attended church. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles and games, such as dominoes. She also loved nature and took many long walks through the woods.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor David Dye officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Hockingport, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, from 4-8 P.M.
