GUYSVILLE—Vanessa (Ness) Nicole Castle, 32, of Guysville, OH, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, in Plain City, OH.
She was born March 14, 1990, in Athens, OH, daughter of Janice Baker Castle and the late Henry Diehl. Vanessa was a 2008 graduate of Federal Hocking High School, where she played volleyball, softball and was a member of the National Honor Society.
In addition to her mother, Janice, she is survived by 3 brothers, Jody Castle, Jason (Sarah) Castle and Trevor (Taylor) Castle; 5 sisters, Julie (Russel) Larson, Veronica (Greg) Steenrod, Amanda Davis, Rebecca (Jacob) Cottrill and Ashley Castle (Mike) and several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog Walter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Rita Baker and nephew, Dallas Castle.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Jacob Cottrill officiating. Burial will follow in the Bishop Flanders Cemetery. A meal will follow the graveside service at the Coolville People’s Club and everyone is invited.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, from 5-7 P.M.
