ATHENS – Todd A. Dean, 55, of Logan, formerly of Athens, died unexpectedly Friday morning, January 25, 2019 at Fairfield Medical Center.
Born May 15, 1963 in Athens, he was the son of Larry E. and Karen L. Linscott Dean.
He was a 1981 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. He was owner of Affordable Cyc Walls, Todd Dean Filmworks and Growin’ Up in the 70’s Museum. He was a former Production Designer for SOS Productions in Columbus and was Prop Master on the movie Touchback.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sheri; his son, Todd “Eddie” (Vanessa) Dean; his grandson, Carter Dean; his brother, Sean (Connie) Dean; his sister, Heather (Jeff) Frost; and his service dog, Tux.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Amesville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
