GUYSVILLE- Todd Evan Bradford, 55, went home to heaven at the Select Specialty Hospital in Newark, Ohio, Saturday, July 14, 2018, while surrounded by family after an extended illness.
Todd was born on May 11, 1963 in Columbus, OH. He was the son of Paul Bradford and Frances (Bradford) Bennett.
He was the loving husband of Christy Bradford and the loving father of Evan and Mikayla Bradford. He is also survived by his mother, Frances (Leroy) Bennett; stepmother, Barbara Bradford; mother-in-law, Myrtle (Kenneth) Gabriel; sister, Lisa (Matthew) McConnell; brother-in-law, Brian (Sharon) Alkire; stepbrother, Jeffery (Brenda) Jones; five nephews: Brannon (Ashley) Alkire, Justin Alkire, Alex (Katlyn) McConnell, Joshua McConnell, Shawn Jones; and one great-nephew, Ryder Alkire.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Paul Bradford and father-in-law, Donald Alkire.
He graduated from Athens High School in 1981. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Technology from Ohio University and an Associate’s of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology, specializing in Microcomputer Electronics from Hocking College.
He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Best of Athens Rentals and the First United Methodist Church.
Todd had an avid love for dirt track racing, nascar, mint flavored desserts, classic rock, roller coasters, and creating things by hand. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved to solve problems and lend a helping hand whenever possible to everyone he met. He was a member of the Richland United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held on August 11th at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church. Services will be officiated by Pastor Robert McDowell (FUMC) and Pastor Karen Crawford (RUMC).
Arrangements have been entrusted to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
