Thomas M. Reasoner

The Plains - Thomas M. Reasoner, 43, of The Plains, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, April 22, 2024 at his home.

Born June 19, 1980 in Athens County, Ohio, he was the son of Dale Sr and Audrey France Minerd. Thomas attended Alexander High School and worked until the time of his passing as a painter. Thomas was an outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, exploring the woods and the caves within them. Among his favorite hobbies were going to the casino with family and hunting for mushrooms year after year.

Thomas is survived by his mother, Audrey Minerd of The Plains; father, Dale Reasoner Sr of Cambridge; siblings, Dale Reasoner Jr, Keith (Ann) Reasoner, twin brother, Timmy Reasoner; half siblings, Amanda, Brandon, Dustin, and Kayla Reasoner; several nieces and nephews; children Tommy and Olivia Reasoner and special friends, Jenn Finley, Amanda Balch and Ron Morris.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Merle France and his uncle, Greg France.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday April, 25, 2024, at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio, with Pastor Rick Sieter officiating. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
