Sylvia J. Causey

Reedsville - Sylvia Jean Causey, 77, a life-time resident of Reedsville, Ohio, went to be with the lord Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Arcadia Nursing Home.
Born November 4, 1937 in Reedsville, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Margaret Brawley Westfall.
She is survived by two sons Rick (Rose) Causey and Johnny (Tammy) Causey both of Reedsville; two daughters Jenny and Jeff Knotts of Parkersburg and Teresa Shamp (Bob Thieman) of Reedsville; eight grandchildren Rickie Causey, Christy Nelson, Jason Reed, Robert Lawrence, Jeremy Reed, Alisa Shamp, Aaron Shamp and Abby Causey; eighteen great grandchildren; three brothers Jack Westfall, Gene (Fay) Westfall, Roger (Sheila) Westfall; two sisters Judy (George) Horner and Linda (Dave) Smeeks; special friend Rowa Reed, a special niece Nicole Moodis; several nieces and nephews; her caregivers June, Joyce and Lacey and her dog, Chicken.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John; son-in-law Wayne Shamp; sister Marlene (Larry) Welch; niece Sabrina Welch; nephew Bucky Welch and a sister-in-law Ila Westfall.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2015, 11:00AM at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Rev George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Heiney Cemetery in Reedsville. Friends may call the funeral home on Friday from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM.
