COOLVILLE—Stephan Smith, 54, of Coolville, OH, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 30, 1967, in Livonia, MI, son of Julie (Breckenridge) Wigal.
In addition to his mother, Julie and Dale Wigal, he is survived by his step-sister, Carmen (Sam) Tingler; 2 nephews, Nathan (Jeryl) Smith and Michael Smith; 4 nieces, Melissa (Josh) Richards, Kaitlyn (Hunter) Mulpas, Cami Tingler and Carley Tingler; 3 great-nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark I. Smith,
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Wayne Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in the Vanderhoof Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, from 6-8 P.M and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Shriner’s Children Hospital for spinal cord research.
