Ruthie McKay

Ruthie McKay unexpectedly passed away on Saturday April 30th, 2022. Born on January 25, 1972 to Lelia G. Runyon and William R. Peck in Gallipolis, Ohio.  She spent her childhood growing up in Guysville, Ohio in Athens County.

Ruthie moved in 1991, where she lived her adult life in South Mississippi, until returning to Ohio to be closer to her family in 2019.

Ruthie loved her family more than life in itself. She worked hard and continuously cared for everyone around her, having been a nurse for the majority of her life.

Ruthie is survived by her parents mentioned above, her four children, Zachary McPherson, Christian Reynolds, Michael McKay and Olivia McKay, a sister Jean L. Hite, brother M. William Peck, and long time friend John C. Reynolds.

A private service for immediate family only will be scheduled on a future date.
