CUTLER--Ruth Wires, 90, of Cutler, OH formerly of Stewart, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Rose Boone, with whom she lived with for the past 8 years after her stroke in 2008.
She was born Dec. 18, 1926 in Guysville, OH daughter of the late Holly Dailey and Lucy Laferma Bails Dailey. She had attended the Stewart Wesleyan Church in Stewart, OH.
Ruth is survived by six daughters, Bonnie Putman, Brenda Cremeans, Barbara Arnott, Rose Boone, Mary Tipton, and Linda Goodfellow; three sons, Clayton Wires, Dan Wires and David Wires; a brother, Virgil Dunfee; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wires; two sisters, Audrey Dunfee and Edith Wires; two brothers, Howard Dailey and Edward Dailey.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with her grandson, Eric Wires officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Stewart.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
