THE PLAINS – Ruth M. Harris. 91, of The Plains, died Saturday morning, June 3, 2017 at the home of her daughter. Born June 16, 1925 in Logan County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Della McKinney Jordan. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Carsey; four grandchildren, Karl (Kim) Baker, Darla Lord, Keith (Brenda Tolliver) Carsey, Joy (Jason) Vess; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; four brothers, Charles Jordan, James (Jean) Jordan, Joe (Bernita) Jordan, Denver (Sandy) Jordan; three sisters, Marie (Paul) Elswick, Nancy (Howard) Sharpe, Barb (Joe) Phillips; two stepchildren, Ethelda (Merle) Oxley, Ron (Carol) Harris; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Theisen; her second husband, Wayne Harris; two daughters, Merlene Baker, Teresa Harris, three brothers, Ray, Clarence, and Ronald Jordan; two sisters, Virginia McKibben, and C. Jean Sayers. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Elswick officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery.
