GUYSVILLE – Russell Wade Cullums, 56, of Guysville, passed away suddenly, Tuesday February 27, 2018 in Millfield after tragically being struck by a vehicle.
Born November 11, 1961 in Athens, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cullums.
He was a graduate of Athens high School, class of 1980. Russ was a lifelong jokester, an avid fisherman, and loved nothing more than riding his bike, living a free spirited life. He enjoyed splitting his time between Florida and Ohio. He will be missed by many and remembered for his infectious sense of humor, and his knack for making people laugh.
Russ is survived by his loving mother, Opal Ronk; his three beautiful daughters, Amy (LC) Grigsby of Vinton, Melissa (Bret) Russell of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Miranda (Michael) Hodgson of Athens; seven grandchildren, whom he spoke about endlessly, Rocco, Malani, Rex, Kakenna, Mason, Lincoln, and Ruby; as well as four siblings and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
