Roy O. Schul

Roy O. Schul, 92, of Coolville, Ohio died June 29, 2014.
He was born January 11, 1922 to the late Irvin Samuel Schul and Sarah Stutler Schul Rhodes. He retired from Union Carbide Corp. in 1978 and was an avid lifelong farmer.
He is survived by three sons: Herbert (Donna) of Little Hocking, Herman (Nancy) of Lottridge and Jerry (Carol) of Castalian Springs, TN; seven grandchildren, Herbert Jr. (Jennifer) of Hebron, KY, Stephanie Rahr of Nampa, ID, Tracie Francis of Marietta, OH, Kimberly Sickler (Harry) of Jackson, OH, Matthew Schul (Pam) of Akron, OH, Walker Schul (Michelle) of Brentwood, TN and Jennifer Miller (Jason) of Lebanon, TN; 22 great-grandchildren and 2 geat-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Alma Knotts of Little Hocking, OH and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Noma of 68 years; two sisters, Mary Roush and Ruth Martin, a grandson, Scott Allen Schul and a great-grandson, Joshua David Colyer.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Meigs County Memory Gardens, Pomeroy, OH with Steve Fuchs officiating.
Friends may call at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville,OH on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 5-8 P.M.
