Rosalie Blake
LITTLE HOCKING—Rosalie Blake, 76, of Little Hocking, OH, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 5, 1945, in Cheboygan, MI, daughter of the late Dorothy Holden. Rosalie attended the St. Ambrose Church in Porterfield and was a former EMT for the Little Hocking Fire Dept. She always volunteered with Red Cross and dedicated her life to helping and assisting others through various agencies.
She is survived by a son, Steve (Jan Lipetzsky) Blake of Hockingport; 2 daughters, Jennifer Blake of Little Hocking and Diana Thompson of Belpre; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Blake, Megan Krantz and Johnathan Thompson; 3 great-grandchildren, Kylee Thompson, Bentley Krantz and Carson Haynes; 2 sisters, Nancy Green and Sue Newman and 3 brothers, Dale Neman, Mike Newman and Ronnie Newman.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leroy Blake; infant daughter, Amy Blake and a sister, Kathy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH,
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, from noon until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Little Hocking Fire Dept. or to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
