ATHENS – Roma Beverage, 78, of Delaware, formerly of Athens, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Born November 6, 1939 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Carl Lewis and Doris Roma Smith Tom.

She was a graduate of Athens High School and was a former employee of Ohio University before moving to Delaware where she retired from TruGreen/Chemlawn. She also was a volunteer at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jack; her daughter, Debbie (Doug Welsh) Dorsey of Delaware; two grandchildren, Nicole and Alyssa Dorsey; and her sister, Jan (Jim) Bernosky of Gahanna.

Services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Denver Dodrill officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
