LONG BOTTOM—Roger Murphy, 55, of Long Bottom, OH, passed away Wednesday, Nov 17, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH
He was born Jan. 5, 1966, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Frank and Bethel Lamp Murphy.
Roger is survived by a son, Kodie (Crystal) Murphy; 2 daughters, Dusty Smeeks and Marisha Murphy; 2 step-sons, Kyle Gordon and Caleb Sheets; 5 grandchildren, Hunter Murphy, C.J. Smeeks, Erica Smeeks, Shooter Mowery and Jimmy Bond, Jr.; sister, Robin Cranston; 2 nephews, Billy Joe Murphy and Daniel Murphy and his mother-in-law, Wanda Deem.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Murphy and brother, Ricky Murphy.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at the Torch Cemetery with Pastor Rick Bourne officiating.
There will be no visitation.
