Roger Dean Lafollette

Roger Dean Lafollette, 67 of The Plains, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital. Born December 24, 1954 in Athens, he was the son of the late James and Thelma Kasler Lafollette. He was a grounds keeper at Ohio University where he retired from after many years of service. He was also a proud veteran having served in United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his five siblings, Judy Stover of Athens, Freda (Joe) Hart of Millfield, Linda (Ron) Mash of Logan, Jimmy Lafollette of Athens, Beverly Rutter of The Plains; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where cremation services will take place. A burial of ashes in Salem Cemetery will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with end-of-life expenses.
