Robert L. Miller, 89, of Stewart, OH passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH.
He was born June 28, 1924 in Raleigh County, West Virginia, son of the late Thomas and Texas Mae Blake Miller.
Bob was a Special Deputy and former posse member with the Athens County Sheriff's Office. He also owned and operated Miller Sanitation since 1952.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Debbie Jarvis-Chovan and Robin Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth L. Miller; as well as his sons: Ron L. Miller (Darlene) of Athens, Larry W. Miller of Stewart and Richard C. Miller (Beverly) of Parkersburg, WV. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville,OH with Rev. Wilbert Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Stewart, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
