CUTLER--Robert Bobby 72, of Cutler, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Charleston Area Medical Hospital.
He was born May 29, 1938 in Millfield, Ohio to Albert A. and Glady O. Burnem McClain. At the age of five, he moved to Cutler, Decatur Township, where he spent the remainder of his life.
He attended school in the Westfield School District.
In his earlier years, he attended Centennial Congregational Church and in the later years attended The Kilvert Church of God. Bobby liked animals, but had a special fondness for goats and across the years he cared for many.
He enjoyed listening to Sunday morning gospel music and also kept an ongoing interest in the newspaper and on the scanner.
Bobby is survived by his brothers, Tom and David; his sisters, Janice McClain, Doris DeVore and Judy Roy Alkire; his sisters-in-law, Cathy McClain and Mable McClain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Donna McClain and brothers, Jerry and Albert Jr. McClain.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, May 30, 2011 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Dr. Tim Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in the Graham Chapel Cemetery, Athens County.
