PARKERSBURG—Robert Martin, 82, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 at Wyngate Senior Living in Parkersburg.
He was born Oct. 12, 1936 in Coolville, OH, son of the late Delmas Earl and Ruth Johnson Martin. He was an Army Veteran and retired from DuPont.
Robert is survived by his wife, Saundra Martin; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan, Benjamin, Steve and Nicholas Martin and 3 step-children, Rosana Barker, Katherene Taitt and Steve Pugh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bob Martin.
There will be a private family service with Pastor Barker officiating.
A public memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019 at 4 P.M. at the Downtown Bethel Church in Parkersburg with Pastor Richards officiating.
