Ralph H. Baker
Ralph H. Baker, 94, of Guysville, OH passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at Green Meadow Health & Wellness Center in Lewisville, OH.
He was born June 11, 1920 son of the late Clarence and Anna Reed Baker. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was a life member of the DAV. He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation in 1985 after 35 years of service. He was also a Township Trustee for 8 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Baker; his step-father, Worthy Cole and two sisters, Beatrice Kemper and Ida Crow.
He is survived by three children, Lorene Baker, Lillian Lehman and Mark Baker; two grandchildren, Eric Land and Courtney Lehman; one great-granddaughter, Tiffany Offord and his adored Great-great-grandson, William Offord; two sisters, Manda Allen and Metta Webb; two brothers, Arthur Cole and Archie (Joe) Cole and a nephew and best friend, Mike Cole.
Services will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Edsel Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11 AM until time of service.
