RACHEL M. LAWSON
Rachel M. Crawford Lawson, 86, of North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of the South Canaan area in Athens County passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007, following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, William C. Junior Lawson, an infant sister, brother-in-law, D. W. Doc Lawson, and sister-in-law, Geraldine Lawson Nicholson.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Garry Parsons of North Fort Myers, Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, William Edward Ed and Shelley Lawson of Logan, Ohio; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Meta Lawson of Guysville, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Dorsey D. and Ellen Lawson of New Marshfield, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be conducted at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home in Athens on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Monte McCune officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home between the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2007. Interment will be in the South Canaan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Canaan Baptist Church, 17506 South Canaan Road, Athens, Ohio 45701 or Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, Florida 33908.
