REEDSVILLE--Patrick Allen Carroll, 70, of Reedsville, OH passed away Sunday, Dec. 11 2016 at his residence.
He was born Sept. 2, 1946 in Vanceburg, KY son of the late Maurice and Edith Wilcoxon Carroll.
Pat loved camping and hanging with all his buddies. He called this his "Happy Place." He also loved umpiring and refereeing for 18 years. He very much loved sports and all the athletes from around the area.
He is survived by his wife , Christina Johnson Carroll; a son, Ray (Shelly) Carroll of Reedsville, OH; grandsons, Christopher (Samantha) Carroll of Reedsville, OH, Nathan Carroll of Reedsville, OH and Tyler Carroll (Hannah Smith) of Reedsville, OH; a granddaughter, Danielle (Chris) Curtis of Reedsville, OH and five great-grandchildren that were his pride and joy, Christian Curtis, Jaelynn Curtis, Hunter Curtis, Cole Carroll and Colton Carroll; three brothers, Craig (Etta Faye) Carroll of Vanceburg, KY, Kenneth (Ruth) Carroll of Vanceburg, KY and Mark (Jeanie) Carroll of Greenup, KY; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Carroll of Vanceburg, KY, Minnie Carroll of Vanceburg, KY Nina Carroll of Lexington, KY; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Debbie) Johnson of Maysville, KY and Jeff (Jennifer) Johnson of London, OH; his first wife, Ilene Carroll of Vanceburg, KY; his mother and father-in-law, Jackie and Dave Lute and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Carroll, Edwin Carroll and Lonnie Carroll and two infant brothers, Wayne and Milton Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville with Joshua Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilmore Cemetery
Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday.
