Patricia Ann Skinner

Patricia Ann Skinner, 85 of The Plains, OH, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Carecore at Westmoreland in Chillicothe, OH. Born October 16, 1939, in Elizabeth, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Ivan and Helen Eloise (Young) Jackson.

A 1956 graduate of The Plains High School, Patricia went on to dedicate her life to family, friends, and the many hobbies she was passionate about. She was an avid quilter, gardener, and cook, and was known for her delicious homemade noodles. When she wasn't busy, you could find her in her favorite place, the back porch swing with her husband of over 64 years.

She is survived by her four children Sheryl (Bill) Leuschel, Lori (Bill) Squibb, Julie (Colin) Davie, Daniel (Renee) Skinner; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Jackson.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel E. Skinner (October 12, 2021), son, Michael William Skinner and daughter-in-law, Mary Wirtz Skinner. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes Funeral Home where private services will be observed at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in The Plains Cemetery.
