Pamela K. Reitz died unexpectedly at her home in The Plains, Ohio on May 17, 2024.

Born March 5, 1947 in Wilkinsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert H and Esther Philbrick Reitz. She graduated from St Clairsville High School and Ohio State University. Pam was a middle school Title I Reading teacher. Her mother’s sewing and needle skills provided her a beautiful home sewn wardrobe during her childhood. Her father’s influence lead Pam to a mechanical interest in the cars she owned. Pam loved to read and frequented libraries, bookstores, thrift shops and yard sales to feed her passion. Pam had a love for animals and fostered and raised many animals over her lifetime. She was a volunteer for many years at animal shelters. Pam had an interest in genealogy and extensively researched both sides of her family. She was a member of the DAR. Her interest in antiques led her collecting and sometimes reselling items. She was a United Methodist by faith.
Pam is survived by 12 cousins on the Reitz side; 1 step-first cousin and 2nd cousins on the Philbrick side as well as other extended family members.
