Oris Ray Jeffers

GLOUSTER - Oris Ray Jeffers, 84 of Glouster, went to be with the Lord early Saturday, March 9, 2019. Born June 5, 1934 in Flora, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Elmer and Eunice Midkiff Jeffers.

Oris was an avid fisherman, gardener, and hunter. He was even more a loving father.

He is survived by his two children, James (Remyann) Jeffers and June Jeffers; 3 grandchildren, Justin Packard, Jonathan Jeffers, Maricel Jeffers Luayon; 2 great-grandchildren, Miguel Luayon and Natalee Packard; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillian Mae; two children, Patricia Packard and John Jeffers; grandchild, Aaron Packard; and 5 siblings.

Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where cremation will take place. A graveside service will be April 14, 2019 at 1PM at Jeffers Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, monetary donation may be made out to the family for end of life expenses.
