     AMESVILLE--Nicholas Allen Wyeth, age 45, died 01 Jan. 2024, in Amesville, Ohio, as the result of a 4-wheeler accident.

     Nicky was born 05 Jul 1978, in Newark, Ohio to the late Richard Caldwell and Paula Ann (Strackbein) Wyeth.  Nicky was an outdoorsman and loved doing anything that would let him be outside. 

     After his mother passed, Nicky cherished living with his aunt Merry and uncle Jim Varner and cousin Kevin. In addition to the Varner family, Nicky is survived by his sister Patricia Wyeth (Lonnie) Tate and half siblings Jimmy Miller, Tina Wyeth Baker, Jeffrey Wyeth, Marc Wyeth, Kitty Wyeth, Mandy Carpenter Rhoads and Carl Woodrum; his aunts Jami Miller, Bonnie Bass and uncle Lenard Scofield, Billy Bland, Mary and Terry Reed and Bobby Rine; cousins, Katie Thomas Spears, Mary Thompson, Haden McCollum, Johnny Valdal, Savana Colling, Nicki Spears and Randi Spears as well as many Wyeth, Bland, Strackbein and Scofield nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

     He was predeceased by his stepfather John Bland, uncle Jimmy Scofield and half siblings, Robert Wyeth, Laura West, Dotty Moore and Sidney Wyeth.

     Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio, with Pastor Phil Foster officiating.

     Immediately following the service, a meal prepared by the Amish Community of Amesville will be served at the Amesville Masonic Lodge.
