Nathan “Nate” Cozart
Nathan “Nate” Cozart was an extraordinary father, brother, son, and friend. He passed away suddenly on November 6, 2021, at the age of 34.
Nathan is survived by his loving daughter, Addyson Jade Cozart; his parents, Melody and Gerald Cozart; his grandparents, Oval and Shirley Nichols; his siblings, Hannah Cozart, Mickey Cozart, Cindy Zadorozny, Becky Buchanan; his girlfriend, Alyson Shank, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Nathan was known for his basketball talents. He was an athlete throughout high school and many young players valued his talent looking up to him as a role model. There is no doubt that he is playing a one-on-one with Kobe while looking down on all of us. He enjoyed hunting, playing disc golf, cornhole, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers- even if they lost. Nathan was a professional chef and loved bringing joy to others through his food, but preferred eating a Larry’s pizza instead. Though it leaves a hole in our hearts, each time it thunders above us we can be assured it is from the chains rattling when he sinks that putt in heaven.
Nathan believed in God, guns and above all else- family. He will always be remembered as an exemplary father, son, brother, and friend to all.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at Eastern High School, with Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the school on Sunday, from 11 A.M. until time of service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
