Nancy Marcinko
Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend Nancy Rose Marcinko, 76, entered into eternal life on December 30, 2020 peacefully in her sleep. Nancy will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
Nancy was born September 25, 1944 in Huntington, West Virginia the daughter of O.B. and Ethel New. Nancy attended Wahama High School in Mason, West Virginia. She was employed for many years at Eastern High School where she was dearly loved by every student who met her. In 2013 she moved to Houston to be closer to her children, Gene and Greg Cole.
Everyone who knew Nancy knew that her two boys were her pride and joy, and that she was their biggest supporter.
Nancy also cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved every moment she had with each and every one of them. Nancy had a huge heart for mankind. She loved giving hugs and it was often said that there wasn’t a stranger that Nancy didn’t know-or a smile kept to her.
Nancy is survived by her two children, Homer Gene Cole Jr and his wife Amy and Gregory Scott Cole and his wife Christine. She had 5 grandchildren Tyler Cole, Chase Cole and Caylah Cole and Haley and her husband, Andrew Howe. She also had four great-grandchildren; 1 sister Kay Wells; 1 special nephew Bryan Wells, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents O.B. and Ethel New.
Visitation will be at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, Ohio on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5-7 P.M.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00 at the Tuppers Plains Christian Cemetery in Tuppers Plains, Ohio.
