Michael Lee William White, 15 weeks gestation of age, passed away due to miscarry on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, just one day after his gender reveal party indicating to his excited family that he was a boy. Son of Jeremy William and Bonnie Elizabeth Liming White, he was a blessed surprise for the the family after 26 years of trying for another child.
For a child who was with us for a short time, the love his family had for him was never ending. He touched his parents' lives deeply, his father looking forward to teaching him to fish and excel in sports, his mother glowing every day since the pregnancy, and his sister eager to watch her little brother grow into a respectful man. Already spoiled, his family would feel him through his mother's belly, singing him soft songs daily. His big sister planned the beautiful gender reveal party for him just the day prior to his untimely passing, making it a precious and memorable moment the family will always have.
Besides his beloved parents who already miss him dearly, Michael is survived by his big sister, Kaylee (Nathaniel Massie) White; maternal grandmother, Tracey (Victor McQuaid) Liming; maternal grandfather, Michael (Theresa) Liming); paternal grandmother, Brenda White; aunts, Jennifer, Tiffany, Chrystal, Amber; uncles, Joshua, Willard, John, Timmy; and countless additional family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his big sister's stillborn child (October 2023); paternal grandfather, John White, Sr.; aunt, Tracie Gelbart; and maternal great grandmother Colleen Phillips.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1PM with Pastor Phil Foster officiating. Visitation will also be Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11AM until the time of the service. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to family friend, Julie Sparhawk, Michael's sister Kaylee, Michael's maternal grandmother, Tracey, and the Ohio University Culinary Services family for their love and support during this difficult time. You are encouraged to sign the online guestbook or leave the family a message of sympathy at www.ehwfh.com.
