Michael "Tony" McMillan, born on April 5, 1969, in Athens, Ohio, passed away at his home on January 5, 2025. He was a devoted father and husband whose love for his family knew no bounds.
Tony is survived by his previous wife Sara McMillan and their cherished daughters: Brittany Allwine and Beatrice (Bradley) Coakley; wife Samantha McMillan and their cherished son: Jace McMillan; as well as seven adoring grandchildren-William, McKayla, Ava Allwine and Brendon, Dalten, Landon, and Mason Hart. His legacy of love will continue through them.
Tony is preceded in death by Mother Grace Santiago, and Father David Hummel, Brother Eric Gallagher, and Grandmother Eva McMillan.
Tony shared a special bond with his siblings: sisters Norma Hudnell, Belva Hummel; and Aimee Gallagher. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who adored him dearly.
A man of many talents but few words when it came to expressing emotions verbally-Tony found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was tinkering with vehicles or working with his hands on various projects around the house or garage, he approached every task with dedication that reflected both skillfulness and passion. Those who knew him understood that these moments were not just hobbies but an expression of how much he cared about those around him.
As a loving father first above all else-he took immense pride in being there for each milestone in Brittany's life as she grew into adulthood while nurturing Beatrice's creative spirit alongside Jace's adventurous nature. The laughter they shared together created memories that will forever echo within their hearts.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Tony's end-of-life expenses-a gesture that would honor this remarkable man's memory while supporting those left behind during this difficult time.
Though Tony may have departed from our sight too soon-the impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him will remain etched deeply within us all forevermore. As of this time, no public services will be observed. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes Funeral Home where you may sign the online guestbook or electronically contribute to end-of-life expenses at www.ehwfh.com.
