COOLVILLE¬¬—Mary Agnes Richardson of Coolville, OH, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 9, 1933 in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Harvey Paul and Alberta Schultz Hite. Agnes was employed by DuPont in her early years. She retired from the Federal Hocking School District, where she taught for 20 years. She also played the piano in local churches and was a 4-H leader in Athens County. In her early years, she was a member of the First Christian Church in Parkersburg and later attended the Grace Brethren Church in Coolville.
Agnes is survived by 2 sons, Bill and Julie Richardson and Paul Richardson; a daughter, Linda Sue and Oris Seabolt; 4 grandchildren, Emily, Aimee, Grace and Owen; 2 great-grandchildren, Ava and Everly and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Richardson; a daughter, Annetta Richardson; a sister, Joann Johnson and a brother, Harvey Hite.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor George Horner officiating. Burial will follow in the Troy Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday, from 11 A.M. until time of service.
