Mary Maxine Marcinko, 84, of Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coolville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital in Parkersburg, WV, following a sudden illness.
She was born April 28, 1925 in Mason County, WV, daughter of the late John W. Eskew and Roxie Lee Myers. She was a former homemaker.
Mary leaves behind 4 daughters and sons-in-law and 8 sons and daughters-in-law. Rose Terry Lehner of Lancaster, OH, Theresa Phil Lashley of Marysville, OH, Roxie Dan Marcinko of Reedsville, OH, Marie Mike Johnson of Pomeroy, OH, Robert Marcinko of Tuppers Plains, OH, Stephen Carla Marcinko of Tuppers Plains, OH, Michael Theresa Marcinko of Reedsville, OH, Dennis Kim Marcinko of Reedsville, OH, David Kay Marcinko of Bellefontaine, OH, Eric Milly Marcinko of Tuppers Plains, OH, Jeffrey Laura Marcinko of Belpre, OH and Kevin Belinda Marcinko of Tuppers Plains, OH. Additionally, she leaves behind 53 grandchildren and spouses of grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Marcinko; sisters, Gladys Frye, Leona Webster and Mildred Withee; and brothers, Charles Eskew, William Eskew, Gene Eskew and Dewayne Eskew; a son-in-law, Michael Lehner and and infant daughter, Loretta Marcinko.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 5, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pomeroy, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Walter Heinz officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Loretto Cemetery in Long Bottom, OH.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:45 P.M.
