 COOLVILLE—Mary Dailey, 64, of Coolville, OH, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

 She was born April 18, 1960, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late John and Mary Ford Coen. Mary was the Secretary and Treasurer for the Coolville Vol. Fire Department since 2003 and a lifelong member of the Hockingport United Methodist Church, where she served as Secretary and Treasurer and also played the piano. Mary was a 1978 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and she retired from Ohio University. After her retirement from Ohio University, she went to work fulltime for Ryan Law Firm in Athens, and she enjoyed her job there. She loved crafts, playing solitaire on her laptop, children, babysitting all of her nieces and nephews and attending all of the family sports activities.

 Mary is survived by her lifetime partner, Eddie Bigley; daughter, Amanda Dailey (John Mundt); son, Brett Dailey; 3 sisters, Barb Holland (Dave Conkey), Linda (Lloyd) Cushman and Lori Coen; brother, John Coen and many nieces, nephew and friends.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie and brother, Ronnie Coen.

 Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Phil Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, OH.

 Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, from 5-8 P.M. and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary’s memory to the Coolville Vol. Fire Department, P.O. Box 417, Coolville, OH 45723 or to the Hockingport United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 453, Hockingport, OH 45739.

 Following the graveside service, there will be food and fellowship at the Coolville United Methodist Church.
