ATHENS - Marlin "Butch" Kriembihl, 77 of Athens, retired from his mission on Earth August 4, 2024 to a new assignment (PCS) in Heaven with Jesus. He was a man of great courage, strong strength, and a brave warrior. Marlin retired from the United States Army and State of Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Tracy (Charles), Lorrie; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four siblings & their families. 

Preceding him in death are his parents; three siblings; son-in-law, Mike; and his breathless daughter, Heidi Angel. 

Per his request, no public services will be observed and private inurnment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where you may sign the online guestbook or leave the family a message of sympathy at www.ehwfh.com.
