Marlene V. Bowers, 69, of Stewart, OH passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at Rocksprings Rehabilitation Center, Pomeroy, OH.
She was born May 28, 1942 in Athens, OH daughter of the late Merle and Clarlinda Sutton Bowers.
She is survived by her daughter, Phylllis Saylor; 2 sons, Lonnie Starcher and Clarence Bowers; 3 brothers, Francis, James and Mark Bowers; 2 sisters, Wanda Burton and Doris Dunfee; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and her boyfriend of 35 years, Charles Wayland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlinda Lane; a sister, Marie Cubbison; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at Haga Mission Church, Haga Ridge Rd., Stewart, OH with Pastor John Butcher officiating. After the service everyone will meet at the Stewart Wesleyan Grace Fellowship Center in Stewart.
