Mark Alan Highland
Mark Alan Highland, 62, of Coolville, OH passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 in Coolville, OH.
He was born Aug. 19, 1954 in Parkersburg, WV son of Walter Highland and the late Phyllis Joy Smith Highland. Mark loved his grandkids. He was a 1972 graduate of Belpre High School, an avid motorcycle rider and outdoorsman. He worked for Ames Shovel Plant for 28 years and retired as a Security Guard for DuPont.
Including his father, Walter Highland, he is survived by 3 daughters, Ginger (Jeff) Boyer of Gallipolis, Alisha (Matt) Barnhouse of Guysville and Jordan (Jason) Brandeberry of Logan; his grandchildren, Corinne J. Boyer, Chase Reed, Connor Barnhouse, Maggie Barnhouse, Mollie Barnhouse and Anna Brandeberry; a brother, Steve (Denise) Highland of Belpre; 2 sisters, Diane Hohman of Logan and Christine (Grant) Rephann of Keyser, WV; a special friend, Rob Blizzard; his dog, Bandit and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Highland; his wife, Teresa Statler Highland and a daughter, Corinne Highland.
A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M., Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH. Visitation will be held Friday from 11 A.M. until time of service.
