Marjorie "Jean" Linton
Marjorie "Jean" Linton, 84, of Coolville, OH passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Muskingum Valley Nursing Center, Beverly, OH.
She was born Sept. 20, 1922 in Coolville, OH daughter of the late Ira Ivan and Ethel Davis Kincade. She was a retired clerk for Chapman's Store in Coolville , she was a 1940 graduate of Carthage-Troy High School in Coolville. During her retirement she spent her years dedicated to supporting her husband Forest and traveling with the Speck's of Bluegrass Band. As a hobby she enjoyed collecting Middleton Dolls.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Rodney Dennis of Belpre, OH and Rebecca and Bud Hartman of Athens, GA; one brother, Ronald and Mary Jane Kincade; 5 grandchildren, H. W.and Rhonda Hartman III, Tanya and Paul Smilley, Erica Hartman, Madesta and Scott Stanley and Torrance Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forest W. Linton; 4 sisters, Hazel Kincade, Helen Root Richardson, Myrtle Jones and Gladys Russell and a brother, Howard Kincade
Services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2007 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Dave Cogar officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
