Marigole Ritchie Wilson, 86, of Circleville, OH died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Willowhaven Nursing Center, Zanesville, OH.
She was born December 24, 1921 in Cedar Grove, WVa to Eben Jennings and Edna Grace Ashley White.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Herve Alvin Ritchie and Reed V. Wilson; a daughter, Sharon A. Hartung; a sister, Donna Brannen; and 5 brothers, Kenneth White, Raymond White, Carl White, Victor White and Darrell White.
She was a loving wife, mother of 4, step-mother of 1, grandmother of 10, having close ties with two of them Michael Ritchie and Lisa Ritchie Purkey who were more like a 2nd family to her, step-grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 15, step-great-grandmother of 5 and great-great-grandmother of 9.
She is survived by 2 sons, Donald A. Marsha Ritchie of Marion, Ohio, Ronald H. Hazel Ritchie of Zanesville, Ohio; a daughter, Mary E. Buyers of Charlotte, NC; a step-son, James Wilson of Birmingham, Michigan; sisters, Delena Howery of Hurricane, WV, Delores Russell of St. Albans, WV, Darlin Keith Thornton of Point Pleasant, WV, Dixie Martin of Pliny, WV and June David Hesson of Seymour, TN; brothers, James White of Buchannon Cam, TX, Clifford White of Warren, OH, Clayton Rita White of Springhill, FL, Douglas Pat White of Mentor, OH, Richard Brenda White of Quinton, VA, Franklin Nikki White of Madison, OH and Ralph White of Cleveland, OH.
She is retired from K-Mart, Inc., she volunteered at the Pickaway County Senior Center for several years, attended the Emmitt Chapel Methodist Church and was a member of the Golden Needle Quilt Club. She made many beautiful quilts for all of her family and she also helped to make over 800 quilts for the Pickaway County CASA Program.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Mark Stier officiating. Burial will be in the White Family Cemetery, Bashan, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
